Long weekend in SUNNY Aberdeen!

We have been hoping to go over to Aberdeen to visit Simon and Nat Allison and their 3 kids for ages. Simon and Joel rowed together in Perth and have stayed in touch since then. They very generously offered to have us stay with them which worked out beautifully. They have a gorgeous big house with a play room full of toys to die for. Cami was in heaven. With their kids Giselle, Archer and Vivien to play with there was never a dull moment! We had such a wonderful time and the sun was shining and it was beautiful and warm for our entire visit. On the final night we took off to a castle, Macdonald Pittodrie House. It was so elegant and beautiful, we thoroughly enjoyed it. We also managed to squeeze in a visit to a beautiful castle on the cliff in Stonehaven, Dunnotar Castle (http://www.dunnottarcastle.co.uk/). It was amazing, worth a visit and fabulous to wander around in the sunshine.
Nat's awesome Cargo Bike. She drove 3 kids around in this!

Swiiiiiinnnnnggggg

Nat and Simon's friend Kate stayed as well, an old mate from Perth, now living in the UK. She just completed a bike ride from the bottom to the top of the UK, impressive! Her book reading skills were equally so.

Walking along the path to Dunnottar Castle

How picturesque

Lots of beautiful grass to practise walking

Wild flowers creating a green and purple carpet

Enjoying the view
