Happy Anniversary!

Today (21st of November) Emma and I celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary. Leather is the traditional anniversary symbol/gift for the 3rd year so I got her some leather maternity hot pants (just kidding).

I look back on my 3 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, laughter, adventures, Cami, and more and I look forward to the years ahead.

Happy anniversary to my lovely wifey!

Marathon Man

Joel ran a marathon in September. Quite an easy sentence to write isn't it? Well I don't think it was quite so easy to accomplish. He trained for months and months (since January really) and did an incredible 3hr23min time, a massive accomplishment. Here are some photos from the weekend.

We can blame our friend Tristan Miller (www.runlikecrazy.com) who we met a couple of years ago when he stayed with us while in the middle of his crazy mission - 52 marathons in 52 weeks - you can read our blog post on that here (http://skandyadventures.blogspot.no/2010/09/interesting-visitor-52-marathons-in-52.html). Joel running into Tristan along the beach in Melbourne planted the seed that would end up with them running the Oslo marathon together.

We had a fantastic weekend, Joel made it through in one piece...just.

Weekend at Randøy Cabin

We were fortunate to get away just the four (or 5 if you include the bump) of us to Laerdal's gorgeous cabin at Randøy, a little island about 90 minutes drive from home. We had a really relaxing weekend, Joel put out some crab pots off the little pier on Friday night, and we were all very excited to find some crabs in there on Saturday morning. We ate delicious chilli crab for dinner!

Exciting News

We are very happy to 'go public' with our news that we are pregnant again, and looking forward to welcoming a new baby into our little (but rapidly expanding) family in early May 2013.

We think we will once again choose not to find out whether it's a boy or a girl, truthfully a healthy baby is all we wish for.

We are especially thrilled that he/she is due to arrive just a few weeks after Emma's brother Brett and his wife Sam's baby. Their little girl is due on Emma's birthday, 12th April. It is a very exciting and happy time for the Ireland/Cousins family next year! Here are some videos of our little bub at our 12.5 week scan a couple of weeks ago.
